Curt@dusteroff tuning
I tried another tuner before I went to curt , with curt tuning my car I can sleep again at night , I can hit the gas anytime and with or without logging I know it will perform and not have to worry about whether or nots it’s showing knock retard ,CURT IS THE BEST HANDS DOWN and you can rely on him to always steer you in the right direction, GREAT GUY TO WORK WITH, I wouldn’t take a horse and buggy to the other guys

Your def getting the power to the ground with current setup. So your best 9.92 was with the 3.10 and 10% lower? You haven't even gotten to unleash the 2.65 yet?

No that was before on a 2.85 upper and 10% lower on pump gas 17 psi
Now I have 3.10 upper 10% lower on ethanol 2lbs less boost but more power the car is faster now with less boost the 2.65 nets me 19-20 lbs of boost and still 21 degrees of timing at redline

Not to high jack this thread but on the subject of tuning......

Would it be better to have 2 tunes, 1 for pump and 1 for E85? Or just one for flex that does both? I wasn't sure if you're leaving some power on the table by running a flex tune that does both vs having a separate E85 tune that has less safety in it for pump fuel and is more aggressive of a tune (because it expects E85 all the time).

Thoughts? Maybe I'm thinking about this one too much, lol.

Okay thanks. E85 isn't easy to get around where I am, so I was thinking pump fuel for daily driving and E85 for the track. So 2 separate tunes for each. It'll be a bit before I'm ready for a tune, just want to do some good research before hand, so I know what I'm getting into! lol.

I don't wanna speak for Curt, but I'd definitely want a flex tune and a dedicated E85 race tune like Hellno has. You wanna keep it safe on the flex and can eek that little bit more when you know it's straight E85.

I've been doing some learning this week and testing and had a kind of surprise result. Video coming Saturday.

Oh, and to the OP for your area I'd definitely use Curt Dusterhoff.

^^^Great question and something I've been thinking about is what fuel do I want to run if/when I mod it? I do daily drive my car and E85 all the time doesn't seem like too wise a choice, especially in the winter. So most people are setting up to run two tunes - one for regular gas and one for E85 then?

I'd do a flex fuel tune and an E85 only tune. That's the best of both worlds in my opinion. Flex means you can run anything from 93 to straight E85 and the car automatically adjusts. In the winter run E50 to avoid the hard start stuff, that's still like 100 octane.

Mine showed 55 percent and still saw 18.5 degrees of timing and no knock retard on flex tune , speedy is correct e50 will still make your car run great
I will also have tunes for different pulley set ups as I have a 3.10, 2.85,2.75 and 2.65

When going from flex tune to pure E85 tune, do you guys pump out the pump gas(If so how?) or do you just run the tank low, put E85 in it and run around for awhile until it gets in the system?
