This GT-R tearing everyone up. Guy asks, "how much boost you run on that last run?" The answer: 33. I had to laugh out loud.

not a location joke, a WTF have you done to your car kind of thing. F-ing 33 pounds of boost is ridiculous. I chuckle right now, just writing this.

Import stuff pretty normal to be over 30. My 03 Evo I had was 20 stock and when I had it tuned they upped it to 24. I knew of Evos pushing 40

I was not familiar with those kinds of boost levels, V. Good to know.

We saw 26 psi on the dyno before belt slippage started. That was with the 3.0 pulley from magnuson. So we’re gonna turn it down abit and go with the 3.25. Probably gonna see 22-23. 26 is to much for me lol.
This is on a built 426 block.

That boost is rather common in the fast GTR world... even more so in the 4cyl crowd. 4G63 (DSM stuff) handles double that with the right parts... that's how they make ~1500+ hp with <3L of displacement.

FWIW - Not many - if any - of those guys are running pump gas... the fast guys are on meth. That changes everything.

I see you are a man of culture. My old SCM61 was around 52lb/min at 33-34psi on pump. (4g63T)

For those that aren't turbo guys, PSI is largely irrelevant unless the other variables are the same. It's about airflow.

Had a Talon TSI with the 4G63T as well as the 6G72TT in my 3000GT VR4. Both of them were high boost and hated transfer cases.

What year VR4? I had a 1994 pearl white with chrome wheels! I was like 26 and my car payments were twice what my rent was but man that car was fun. Talk about turbo lag! I wish I had some pics. True story. I bought a 1993 3000GT I think an SL non turbo. Had it about 2 months and just wasn’t fast enough so I brought it back and got the VR4. Loved that car.

Mine is stock (6.7 CTD), and I regularly see 30-35 psi. That’s just out of the box, warranty intact.

This, 100%. If you can't use that flow, you're not doing anything. Being able to sustain that pressure and get useful work out of it is what impresses me.
