Title says it all.
What are ideas / pictures, showing how others store their wheels (with tires on) and tires (by themselves).

I know there are racks you can buy for 4 or 8 wheel/tire combo. Some on wheels for mobility. It seems most fabricate their own set up.

Yea. Maybe a 100 bucks and a trip to the Home Depot. Even I couldn't mess up constructing a set up like that. 😂

How high do you have the base at?

Not mine. One of my Porsche buddies. I know you don't want them too high. For access and personal injury...your back. Need to access safely. When we're rolling a wheel/tire it's pretty manageable. Lifting one at eye level or over your head is another thing.

I store mine in the attic. I have some loose wheels and some wheels with tires on them. The one's that have wheels and tires together, I use Kurgo Seasonal Tire Totes which are nice because they're easy to install, very strong and have handles to carry them. I inflate the tires to 40si to avoid any flat spotting while sitting.

Right now, mine take up to much room in garage (stacked on each other). Thinking about a tire/wheel rack to get more floor space.

I would be so scared to have one of those racks suspended over anything of value much less one of my cars. They do serve a purpose, and look kind of cool, but I cant do it. My drag radials stay in my basement where its nice and warm.

In the front of my shop I have some exposed 2x6 boards under the roof of the 1st floor (no 2nd floor above this area)... I just screwed a 2x4 to the top of it and the tires rest between the 2x4 and the opposing wall of the 2nd floor. It’s almost identical to the picture posted above, but it’s above the garage door completely out of mind and out of sight. Unfortunately, I have to climb up on the ladder to get them up and down, but my snows/summers/spares just hibernate up there. I have an actual tire rack made out of steel tubing (also like the wooden one posted above) that held my race tires, since I needed quicker/easier access to them. Your design should be dictated by how often you want them into or out of the rack... and how good your back is. If you don’t have a younger brother with a good back, don’t store them above your head
I’ll get pics. My words suck. Haha.

^^ Oh yea. I get it. I used to have bicycles dangling over cars. But, space is everything in garages with these cars, so you pick and choose your poison. 😂

Anyone who wants some 11" Bravado wheels with those worthless drag radials speak up. Otherwise I am seriously considering some big smoke videos this year. I need that space for equipment I use now not yesterday.

If you’re gonna store tires, try to store them out of the heat. My wife gets a little fussy about me storing my DRs in the mud/laundry room, but the oils don’t get baked out of ‘em as fast as if I left them in the garage.

They were for my '15 they are the 20" diameter with a -21mm offset. The DR's are the ones that snapped the CF DS at the line one day at BIR when they were new. Damn hooked up well, and I gave it hell. Did not make it to the floor before it snapped.
