It is certified at 812hp at 6300, so we have 14 ponies to spare with the bigger gears. Add that to the dyno talk to further confuse the bench racing debate.
So wait....you mean FCA fudged the numbers just to keep the Demon population happy? It really is 808 on 93 just like a Demon? Nooo Wayy.
I guess that disperses hoods making the difference.

Certified at 812? I didn't know that - better yet! Let's see, what should I do with that extra 15hp? Oh yeah, buy better tires! lol. Good thing I now have those 11 inch trims I bought from you. And btw- thanks for lunch!

Torque is Time, HP is speed.
Actually, no.

Torque is the measure of rotating force. The more torque measured, the greater the engines ability to perform "work".

Horsepower is a measure of how rapidly "work" is accomplished over a distance.

HP=TQxRPM/5252

The original definition was lifting 33,000 lbs over one foot in one minute. James Watt called that "one horsepower".

Someone actually paid the $50 for the copy of the SAE certification. He posted it, so... I have the copy. There is a rated (there is the 797) and a measured. The bigger number is the measured. So it tough to split hairs now with gears. I am happy. I had mine out this weekend, and there is plenty of power especially while the streets and air is cool.

Was that on the old website?

I remember seeing it too. And yes, same motor, same rated HP!!! Dodge just playing marketing games to keep the Demon crowd happy.
Look at the front end/hood of the new Drag Pak!!! Well over 1000hp and it uses a Hellcat hood LOL. The hood thing was BS

Where’d you run at? My problem is wearing a helmet and rowing my own, can’t hear the car, shifter obscured from view, first time at this track, pavement markings where poor didn’t know where 1/4 mark was and run out is very short with a hard Bumpy 180 at the end. My buddies Stick stang ran a 10.6 at 137 and they side lined him for going over 135 without a cage, thought 9.99 or 140 was the mark for such??

So what are the rules for a cage in a 2016+ car? I know 9.99 and under but what speed? 135 or 140??

I run at Island since its usually less crowded than Atco. Atco for PB's, Island for seat time. Wasn't Sunday their opening day?

Their track prep is usually... ehh. I know they are really strict on the 9.99 and 135mph rules.

One of the things you can do to bring your mph down a little without hurting your et is to get off the gas and on the brakes right as you hit the finish line. The timing lights for mph are the first and third set of lights at the end. The quarter mile finish line lights are the middle. If you are just a mile or two over the 135 with a 10.0 et, you can shed a couple mph keep from getting kicked out if they are enforcing it that strictly.

Yea, Sunday opening day, and yea little to no track prep, nothing in my wheel wells even, stopped at car wash on the way home and just high pressure rinse no soap even took everything off which was mostly dust and bits of my tires.

Yea, their struck, my Snell rated helmet a year over their rules and they wouldn’t let me use it, had to rent a crappy one that was all scratched up, that’s safer then my pristine O’Neal helmet ???

My buddy who went 137 and got side lined said he can mod his tune in HPT to cut ignition at any speed, next time out he’s goin to set it at 135 and see what he traps at and adjust from there. That’s a mustang, can that be done on Dodge stuff too???
