So, any recommendations for someone looking to hit the track when the virus is behind us and needs to change wheels at the track? Thanks!

You need a low profile aluminum racing jack to get under these cars. Just Google it...

Can't go wrong with Habitual Fraud(Harbor Freight) Daytona jacks... Not too expensive, but great piece of hardware to have. I own three. Definitely not a bad pickup.

I have 2 Pittsburgh 2 ton aluminum jacks from Harbor Freight. I have owned them for over 7 years. So much easier using a lighter jack I will probably never buy another steel one. I have 2 so I can lift both sides of the car at the same time. Much easier to put one in the trunk then a heavy steel one

My buddy has one of those 1.5 jacks. For small jobs it has it's place. If you just wanted to use it for changing tires at the track, it could be a good choice. If you planned on using it for others jobs I would step up to something bigger.

I agree , Harbor Freight , 1.5 or 2 ton aluminum jacks , the 1.5 is a little smaller to carry in car & will do the job but the 2 ton is a little better.
I have had the 1.5 ton b4 now I have the 2 ton , but I change my tires at home not at track.
You can get the 1.5 on sale for $60. & the 2 ton is $120.

I’m thinking the money and weight savings pushes me to the 1.5. Got it in my cart and will shop the site later to see if there’s anything else I need (want). Thx!

Having only HEAVY steel jacks. I picked up this little jem when they were being discontinued at a store here. I found this listed at amazon.ca
Works great and is light. Plus it doesn't take a bunch of room in the trunk. Just bring a small 2x4 incase the parking lot isn't the best. 20200430_104101.jpg

Luckily the 2 local tracks here has air to air up after but I also carry the factory air pump just in case.

That pretty cool @moparjim , never seen that b4.

That's actually pretty cool! That would be great to keep in my wife's truck for peace of mind but since it's electric I may stick with the manual for the track. Thanks!

My track has air to air up also. But I noticed it leaking air and water once when the end got stuck. So I don't use that anymore. 3 buildings over is a gas station with water less air.

Yes it does bull. I use the magnetic pinch weld lift pads from ZL1?
In my garage if fits under the front with the pinch weld pad. At the track I sometimes have to drive onto a piece of wood.
The lift pad on the tool is adjustable also. The compressor is about as quick as the factory one. It is just a little bigger than the factory air compressor.
I saw a HC owner at the track with it. Because of the little space it takes I bought one.
