I think I'm going to put a stand alone tank in the trunk and start at 200 and hopefully wind up around 350. Gonna wait until I'm ready to build the trans though, so for a while it will be blower only

I'm not sure how much a -6an will flow but -4 is around the 200-250 mark, so no jet might be an option :oops:

I have the same cam waiting to be used, just installed the vvt block the other day
Ill do that when I get some free time. Otherwise Ill lose it haha.

We use both TSP and Cammotion for our cams. I talked with cammotion about my setup, and this is what they recommended. I sort of wished he would have changed it up a little so we could call it our own, but I've been dealing with them for almost 20 years. I trust them, so here we are.

Keep us updated how you like it. I'm hoping it has a little sound, but not too crazy. Want to stay a little incognitoish

@Hpindy has the same cam an you notice a difference from stock but not much.

This is a fantastic camshaft for a boosted engine.. -1 overlap so you are not blowing boost out the tail pipe and the opening and closing events are very very good ..

What you guys didn't want this cam that says with a 2.65 upper and a lower you can get a 9.7 1/4 mile :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
I think that would slow you down with those mods.

Thats exactly what I'm looking for. A noticeable idle, but not chopping the forest down
A lot of people go for sound .. that is a function of overlap and valve timing. . That may work on a N/A engine for better scavenging but on a boosted engine you are getting less cylinder trapping on the intake cycle .. you will still need a good exhaust path to get all the spent exhaust out of the cylinder.

It amazes me how many cams we sell based on sound. Most guys want the sound first and if the performance is there OK. Im like that on some vehicles as well. I have a 1992 Silverado that I feel that way about. I want it to look good and sound good, but I know it will never be a great performer.

On my car, I want performance and if it sounds killer, wonderful
