Setup was relatively easy. Operation was easy till I saw every hose leaking on first lift. In the kit they give you a bottle of thread sealer which absolutely does not work.

I redid every hose with PTFE thread sealant tape and not a single leak. Now I wont have to deal with jackstands anymore. I have the 7000SLX models. I do have to call Bendpak as they sent me a extra rail… and yeah um need the space.

I had them many years ago, the first gen had notoriously leaky quick connects, they were then re-designed and better. My instructions, back in the day said to use thread tape, odd they switched to something else. I got tired of dragging them around and switched to a drive over unit.

I have been using mine for about 3years now. I actually leave it under the car. Then just pull out to lift whatever car I need to work on. When changing 4 drag wheels twice a week it saves tons of time.

No issues with mine but I used teflon tape as well.

Their connectors suck! I will agree. More than once I have had a failure, lots of fluid on the floor, and had to go buy new parts. Plus they are a bear to connect together.

If everyone is shit canning the liquid seal, why do they still send it out? Counter intuitive to me, unless it comes with the "package" they set up with Alibaba/Communist Walmart. Stuff is made in China, I believe.

Odd.
Did not get sealer, but also, have no leaks.
Love mine.
As I have Mopar springs, and got the extension adapter (so jack actually contacts front and rear lift points), I made wooden jack stands to drive up on. 0905211325.jpg

Taped all mine because I always do.

Year 2 and no issues. Use it all the time.

I only have the 5000SLX and my charger is no issue. I use 4 generic lift pucks.

.....and...it also lifts my silverado 1500

Plus they are a bear to connect together.

One trick I've learned is that once the racks are all the way lowered, CONTINUE to hold the Down button for several seconds after they have stopped moving.

The residual pressure in the lines takes more than a second to bleed off, if there is ANY pressure in the lines the QDs are much harder to connect!

Once I started doing this, they go together much much nicer.

; )

I’ll try that again. That is also what I thought. Thanks, because she gets parked for the season probably this weekend.

Leave the hoses connected to the jacks.
Mother f*#ker to connect.
Only reconnect at pump.

Good I am not the only one @Hunter. Got the new shoulder to rip on them soon anyway.

This year yes. She parks the Jeep next to it. If any drip happens when it snows, then some water wants to pond right under the right front. I may be covering it this weekend! The forecast temps do not look too good.

My quickjack works great, easy to connect, only get small drips when disconnecting the lines, otherwise good to go.

Works great. Pretty damn heavy though.

I’m sure you guys know this but the connections have alignment grooves in them. So if you’re struggling to connect the hoses, take a look and make sure you’re aligning the two fittings correctly.

I know you guys are smart enough to look at that but just incase…

Permanent location of pump and cable route. Also figure out radial shift and storage.
