As title says, im inquiring what max rpm for a stock blower would be. Ive heard around 20-21k safely. Other have stated higher. My concern is obviously the faster you spin it the more heat it makes this negating the process. Is tbat the only concern? Secondly what kind of iats (how high) are we looking to run safely? Of course the lower the better. Im just trying to wrap my head around a few things. With the Interchiller stage 2 i never see high IATs. Just wondering if thats the limiting factor. So many different opinions out there. TIA

Stock lowers are 8.18 for your calculations.

Defining "safe" is part of the equation too.

Longevity is part of "safe"

Risk / reward ?

I agree @BULL. I run a 2.69 upper only and trap 142, there’s more in it for sure once I get a chiller. I refuse to spin it much faster than that, maybe the 2.66 that satera has but that’s it, I don’t like that it’s anti ed pulley that I have for starters on the stock blower. There’s plenty of other ways to make more boost and more power on a stock blower than spinning it faster than that

I have just a 2.55 upper which appears to be very similar to 2.7 upper 10% lower
