First time doing the diff. Takes less time than taking the knuckles off, I’d even swap axles this way if I didn’t have full exhaust. That’s the worst part

I believe these 3.70s are worth more than the 3.09s, aren’t they?

It’s crazy that I’m running stock 2015 axles with 60k miles on them and they look perfect. Only making around 900whp, but still

I’m half tempted to say the heck with a pole barn and just get a slab put in in the yard with a lift and a car port over it.
That's the way to go if you live in an area with decent weather most of the year. And them pipes are heavy even with a lift.

It can be done that way with stock axles and even my gforce renegades will work. Getting into the gforce outlaw axles it will not. They are too stiff and will get damaged if you try it

There is a trick to getting the knuckles on and once you know how to do it it isn't bad.

Oh I know, the long bolt and nut/washer trick 😉. I put new hub bearings on and longer studs a few months ago

Honestly, with all of the people twisting the force axles I don’t think I’ll ever do anything besides redeye ones. I hammered on these axles twisted them everything and they’re still great (stock 2015 axles). No spline twisties at all

I have some more aggressive launch things to try - hoping I don’t join the broken axle club any time soon

I ordered this car in 2015 got rolled into a 2016 so was a early 16 build, has about 7,000 miles on it.
its got a built 411 with 3.0 whipple. car ran 9.33 at 147 with stock 2.4 blower 1.38 60 ft.
been to the track once since whipple installed an snapped L.side axle. I knew is was just a matter of when, not if. I have a wavetrac an outlaws to install. will soften up the launch so not so hard off the line.

Something to consider…. The 3.70 gearing with the resulting wheel spin was taking the pressure off the driveline. Spinning the tires is like a pressure relief valve. The taller gearing and a harder hook due to less gear will put more stress on the axles. Don’t be surprised 😂

If stuff breaks, I get it towed, and I fix it. No big deal. As long as the engine is fine

@Hatermkr or @fumanchu182 can you guys confirm torque specs on diff bolts please? Manual is saying the ones that go through the side of the cradle (back of diff) are 111 for lbs and 2 that go on the side of diff to top of cradle are 48 ft lbs
