Yup I still have a dual point Mallory mechanical advance distributor along with a good tack and dwell meter, timing light with advance knob. Will probable never get rid of test equipment even though most ignitions are pointless (no pun intended) and even distributorless, you never know what old survivor bone stock car my come into your life.

That engine was very cool, it takes determination skill and passion to make an idea into an actual piece of running CNC art, and roar to life. Thanks for sharing.

Funny...all those tools you mention ....are boxed up in the basement...haven't touched em in decades...that was hi tech back in the day...and all my stuff was Snap-On.....

A timing light?? We didn't even have a flash light. But, we had these huge Oaks that we pulled the engines from. Your wealth was figured by how many engines you had hanging. Not like the deceased Johnny Wad. What a man??
