Okay, I started looking at used HC's. I found an 18 pretty close to everything I want. Here is my window sticker and the Cat Sticker - Give it to me straight. What am I losing by go down a year, what am I gaining besides 200HP!! (yay). Mine has 15K miles, this one has 4K and is of lease.

IF I don't make a deal on this one, it still seems to be the way to go for me used with low miles. Thanks in advance -

I suggest you drive a Hellcat. Once you drive one you will never go back. That's why I have a Hellcat and a Redeye. Two different cars.

Lost me...."is of lease"....

Do you mean the '18 Hellcat was a lease car with 4K miles on it...and they are selling it for sticker price?

For me, it comes down to what you want this vehicle for?

If it is a garage queen, why spend the money on a Hellcat/Redeye; 392 is good enough

If it is for daily driving; 392 is good enough

It is for racing (track or dragstrip), then always get the Hellcat/Redeye. You will get upgraded engine and parts that you would spend more money on with upgrading a 392 to the same level.
Then if you upgrade the HC/Redeye with a simple pulley change to E85, the 392 can not even compare.

Looks like you'd gain the HP and have lower miles but lose 1 yr of warranty coverage.
The real question is, is it worth it to you to move up to a Cat for the $$ diff. between the 2 vehicles.

Go for the Hellcat 100%. The Scat is a ton of fun, but nothing beats being slammed in your seat and hearing that intoxicating whine from under the hood! ---The chicks dig the Hellcat too! Ok fine they cant tell a difference, from the HC to an SXT:cry:.

Just don't be that guy that wants both! A Scat looks funny with Hellcat badges and stickers on it.

It is off lease - no they are not selling it for sticker, I just put up the stickers together for comparison and comment.

It is a garage queen and weekend fun car. It would probably never see the drag strip, but maybe who knows.

Traded my 16 scat (purchased off showroom floor) for a used 16 HC (in 17) and went 14,000 upside down on loan. Wanted the cat though. Was worth it, to me.
The short of it?
It's worth exactly what you are willing to pay.
Regardless of what ANYONE else says.

One of my favorite sayings is, "Good enough for the girls I go out with." It always gets a laugh. Unless the girlfriend hears it.

^^^^^^^^ Its not normally our standards that need to be increased, its the money. It takes lots of money to get fast cars, and and even more money to get the true hotties. Granted I am not remotely good looking, so results may vary.

Agreed, except for the garage queen part.

Hellcats are garage queens in my opinion. I see more scat packs than I do hellcats. Usually, they look like they've been used pretty thoroughly and almost always modded too.

I'm an old man in a young body. 23 years old and I've had a stroke, and a mini heart attack. Lol!

I've spent my time in fast cars and fast women.
I'd like to own another 392 Scat if possible. But with the way my career is going, I'll be looking for a new job soon again.
As for the women I date, they're typically quite above my "league." Lol. I'm not the most attractive, but I'm not the worst looking either!

In my area, 99.9% of all the Hellcats AND Scat Packs are pretty much garage queens...especially during the winter. You'll notice as time goes along, those saying you should drive your car more and calling your car a garage queen are from warm southern/western states that don't really see super cold snowy winters. They can drive year round.

The only Challengers you see any of during winter here are GT's....and there ain't a lot of those.
