Ford Will Continue To Build V8 Mustangs No Matter What Chevy Or Dodge Does

Back in the day, at least the 318 was a V8. As opposed to the stupid slant 6! I know it was a durable and profitable engine, appropriate for and popular with little old ladies. I know this first hand.

As a employee working seven days a week in an auto factory I would NOT want a vehicle built the day before or the day after the SB
Just my observation and .02
Hopefully it get's put off at least a couple days longer.

PS: I'll be working on SB Sunday as I couldn't care less

ive driven the new v8 mustang its a nice ride for sure @Charger girl (my fiance) liked the mustang alot but decide on the rt durango which she is very pleased

Sad it takes that long. I ordered mine July of 2012, was here in August. That was a long month wait and now 6 months is normal

I’m sure the strike didn’t help matters. 🤷🏼‍♂️I actually had heard that Ford was going the direction of pushing dealers to carry less inventory and trying to get customers to place orders. Seems if that was the case they’d try to get it built quicker.

The truck I ordered last summer took about 6-7 weeks to be delivered.
