Pretty big privately owned business...like to see what that restructure is going to look like...brands will fall that's for sure..

Just about every brand they bought took a big QC hit after their acquisition. Some say, serves them right.

Not sure about that....that will be up to the Bankruptcy court...after all they (and any secured creditors) will first have to agree to the re organization plan...which no doubt will include some sort of divestitures...some brands might be sold off..and some may just fall by the way side..or worse case scenario...forced into chapter 7...and a liquidation of assets...time will tell

So does Michelin. Maybe that’s how it snuck in, but the tire division is separate.

TRICO as well. The son used to be a good friend of the family. Their fortune has gone a long way in Buffalo, most recently - Oishei Children’s Hospital.

Generally speaking that’s a pretty diverse portfolio and I’ve purchased from many of those brands, just not very frequently.

Seems like Michelin is licensing their name for little stuff. I tried their wiper blades several years ago. They sucked. Never had a bad Michelin tire, though.

It made no sense that one guy we never heard of owned Michelin Tire Company. I am going to shine up my hot rods today with a smile. Especially the one wearing the big Michelins. The other will wear some soon.
