I've been considering fixing these Race Ramps to my trailer floor to raise the car up 4". With an escape door on my trailer this will give me the clearance I want.

For now I use a combination of a 16 year old son who weighs about 120 lbs driving it up and sliding out the window and using my winch to pull the car up.
I really like Dr Buick's suggestion though. Just not sure who could do that for me to a trailer I already own. Also wondering about cost and weight.

I had forgotten about this from when you brought it up "before". But I really like this idea, a bit higher than the 2x12's, but much lighter I bet! (Cost is a small issue compared to the 2x12s, but it's also a much more elegant solution too)

Looks like each Race Ramp is 40 lbs.

I had a buddy do a removable inner fender on the trailer
But it was 3 or 4 inches & not 6
Maybe do a combo with the 2 x 12 s ???

That looks like a slick item. Just don't like the 10 sec. fast forward YouTube vid. It's like yup here it is "Ta -day". Show a little more on how it's like to get car on,and nuts and bolts of actually doing it in more live time. Just seems like someone's hiding something when they gloss over like that. Just my 02.

I am in the process of customizing the trailer right now hopefully I will have it done by this weekend. I am going to the track so it has to be done. I will post pics of the process. Wish me luck.

I could if I had time but I need to get the trailer finished for Friday as I am going to the track.
