What's different on the accessories? I wasn't aware of that.

Also, I was hoping that by putting something stupid in the thread Phast Hemi would show more of his cards. :devilish:

Several differences including the AC compressor and the blower belt

I agree any small difference in accessory drives isn’t going to use 11 HP. Speedy says the Demon and RedEye timing is identical. That’s why I believe the 11 HP difference is bs - unless there is a slight cam difference.

According to Dodge, the engines are identical other than valve covers. No way the cam is different if they're making that claim.

My RE engine came with a document from FCA saying if the vehicle it was going in to was a 2019 RE then drop it in. If it was a 2018 Demon, swap the valve covers for red. Engines are definitely the same.

The only accessory I can think of that would account for any difference in HP out put would be power steering, going from pump driven to electric, but we're really splitting hairs over 11hp that's likely more marketing than anything else. Haven't there been REs and Demons dyno on the same dyno and be extremely close to each other to the tires?

Yeah, let's get back to how Phast Hemi is trapping 144+ on stock boost

Yes I've read on the other forum that someone dyno'd a Redeye made 698rwhp and a Demon on 808hp mode and made 699rwhp.

A different AC compressor is more than a small difference... especially if it is significantly larger...

But not enough to make more than a 1.4% difference in advertised power, seems silly to even be discussing it to me LOL.

My car ran between 144.1 and 144.8 mph at 1300’ DA on multiple passes. The ET varied due to 60’ performance but that didn’t make much if any difference on finish line mph. Weight is right at 4500. My dyno numbers were 915 rwhp and 908 rwtq uncorrected at 2500’ DA on a Dynojet. Just numbers for comparison
