I had a Typhoon back in the day... one of the most memorable cars I ever owned. Not many were familiar with them and they were sleepers on the streets.

One of the dealerships in Denver was not moving them very fast so they custom painted some of them. There was one with flames they would bring to the drag strip once in awhile

Wow! My dream car back then was the Typhoon! I settled for a GTA. Cyclone was nasty a buddy had one! I need to win the lottery lol. Dakota with HC engine Please!

I sold one of those 2020 SVE Syclones a few months back. "Underwhelming" is an apt description of the vehicle.

Another 300hp will help a lot.

Funny story
When i was 15 almost 16, pops was asking me about what cars i was looking at for my first car. He completely shot down the Grand National talk when a buddy of his at work had his tuned with over 300whp.

So i pivoted. Wanted a Blazer/Jimmy. Found a really good deal on a Typhoon in the newspaper (this was 1995) and went to go look at it. My dad was sold on it until we went on the test drive. I ended up with an S15 and a 2.8L V6

Looks sharp, but a twin turbo V6 in the Colorado platform would hearken back to the original better, IMO
