Track elevation is 3075 at starting line in Vail. Barometric pressure is in the low 29s. Temperature is in the 90s. Humidity is high due to monsoons. DA is not static elevation. The DA in Tucson is 4000-8000 depending on the time of the year and the weather. We had a few Demons run at our...
Don’t know about that. On the street the best that car does is in the 3s. The demon 170 can’t launch. At the track no contest. From start to finish I’m ahead. The thing I am scared about is my wife sitting next to me. No man would want her wrath even with a quarter of the go peddle pushed...
The only one I would consider would be the caddy. Not as fast. But a good road car for a sedan. If a challenger the redeye wide body. Those are getting above 100 with all the bells and whistles.
In Tucson. All black. Not impressed by the look of the narrow body up front and the wide body in the rear. He still had the temporary tags on the car. I don’t like discussing finances. But assuming I could buy a car between 100-200k it would not be the 170.
Yeah he is a sweetheart! Not! My car idled so bad with his tune. And then the engine at 130 mph going down the strip would just go into limp mode. I switched to Alex. Even on the weekend Alex would help me out.
Yep. It was a dream. That is why I want it back in. Long story why it was taken out. Where does that adapter plate go on? Can I use the bolts from the dss that is on there now? Found out the vibration was from the dss.
Mike,
IN the cold my E85 does not like to fire up. Yes, it gets cold in Tucson. :)
Which tables may help with that and what should I set them at?
Thanks
I took the bead off and I know exactly what to do. But I will not be doing that. A tire place with a rotating wheel as they put in a flat bar will be able to put it on the bead within a minute. I tried. It is not happening.
I now see with reading glasses on there is the bead of the wheel itself and the bead of the ring. I did not have the tire over the bead of the wheel. So screwing on the ring obviously was not going to work. As Marc says that creates the sandwich. 🥪 so off with the ring and into the tire shop...
Miracle. With the use of two breaker bars, some wd40, some cussing and remnants of my strength as a younger man I got the tire on the rim. But it is not setting against the beadlock of the wheel. Does it need just a super fast rush of air from a professional installation place or is there...
