Demon 170, will any be 100k, probably not

Yep, I am working on getting my hellcat back to the track, beat the shit out of my hellcat or Demon170? I will race the 170 sparingly as I am hard on parts.

Fight it (semi-retirement), burn some race gas/ethanol/methanol, surround yourself with eye candy and SEND IT

Ron Silva Breaks Stock Tune Demon 170 Record.

I am just having a little fun, let's goooo. IMO, once you get back from seeing your dentist and girl friends in south America (although I am not sure you should travel there, they all seem to be coming here) get to the track. Some killer passes are needed. Good for the soul

    3.8 whipple

Marc, You sold me, what model number are the 2200 cc injectors? The photo you posted? I get screwed up on the terminals and needed voltage for the correct injectors (I don't want to order the wrong ones).

    3.8 whipple

I was about to order a 3 inch diameter pulley, the advice is very much appreciated, I might be getting old, driving 12 hours to the event to break it on the 1st or 2nd pass is hmmmmmmm. I heard the failure rate is 75%, not sure how whipple stays in business if that is the failure rate. FYI- my...

    3.8 whipple

Thanks for the information, I am pushing real hard to make Dan's event on April 5 and just dusted off the whipple box, I purchased it a few years ago when they first were released for Dodges.

Marc, How to tell if the unit is billet? Is there a serial number that indicates that it is billet or can it be determined visually?

    March 5th Reveal

Tires maybe, depends on brand and weight. Brakes, no, the regen is crazy good on most EV's, brakes not heavily used, some would say hardly used. The regen causes such deceleration that a software update was done on my EV to flash the brake lights sooner (the brakes light up depending on the...

FYI- friends Tesla goes thru tires every 15-18,000 miles. My tires look good at 29,700 miles, it looks like I will get 35,000 or 40,000. EV's are not hard on brakes because of the regeneration, I hardly use my brakes.

We are living in crazy times, I don't think those big ass Cadillacs from the 1950/60's weighted 6,000 pounds. The GMC EV Hummer weighs 9,000 pounds, as I recall. My EV's weigh 4,500 pounds and it looks like they are lite compared to other EV's.

That is a great question, what is the target demographic for these vehicles? The reported range of this vehicle is not good nor is the efficiency. The 400 volt architecture is also not good as the charging times will be relatively slow and the battery is large. This equates to long charging times.

I like EVs as everyday driver, I will take a test drive and see what is what. Yeah, I know, very few here like EV's.

    Drag pak spec shootout

Again, tech is bullshit at most tracks so what is the real reason? There is a track that I have been at that let's (or did) passengers. The real reason is not safety, imo

    Drag pak spec shootout

The current NHRA rules state that a cage is not needed for 2015 + cars down to 9.0 with functioning airbags (as I recall). How many heavy weight cars go in the 8's? There are some but let's be real here, the real reason for not having the class is not safety. I cannot tell you how many events I...
