So if you had to pick one of the following:
1.) Ford Lightning
2.) Tesla Cybertruck
3.) Dodge Rev
4.) Be the Potato of the United States but wiper for the rest of his term
What do you choose.
This has been really interesting. I hate my HK system so much, but the car is no longer daily driven so its many glaring audio system faults aren't so big of a deal anymore. Aside from the muddy, loose, dirty, sounds so bad I want to stab my ear holes, my next major complaints is lack of...
Cordless microwave oven...now there is a marketable idea. Fat asses, I mean body positive whatever's, could walk around with them like old school boom boxes. Zapping frozen burritos and pizza bites. Corse I don't know why they would be walking around but still, sounds like a good idea. Could get...
I think the performance of this and other electric cars will be and are very tempting. I'm still planning on nursing my anti-electric stance for awhile though. Also Dodges plan to offer features as a service (subscription/extra cost) infuriates me to the point I'll likely stay away.
I hate the HK in my 19 Charger. Sounds like complete garbage. It is better than my 1972 truck with AM only radio and one speaker, but not by all that much. Thank the gods of ICE that the engine soundtrack is so worth listening to. My hell would be an EV with this audio system in it.
I agree, unfortunately other states are jumping in with CA. I don't see any of the manufactures concluding that it would be worthwhile to make 49 - quite a few other states, state cars.

A total of seventeen U.S...
Theoretically, if you have no concerns for your warranty but are worried about say CA smog checks. Would swapping the original factory PCM in for the check be an issue assuming no other mods done except for tunning?
A pair of 2x4's does work. My driveway isn't very steep it's just the curb that is. All the houses are the same way. My current solution, sideways approach does work but I think some creative modes to the curb is in order at some point.
Despite not having the cold weather our roads still have plenty of potholes. In the bigger cities its getting bad along with everything else.
My best option is to take it at a big angle very slowly. Forward up into the garage and backwards back into the street. I also have to dodge the daily...
I live in a typical crappy California home with houses 10 feet from each other and supper short driveways with giant curbs. My crazy angled approach to the curb still often results in scrapes. I also scrape my daily on it and its not near as low as the Cat.
I didn't know asphalt cold patches...
My long term update - I did manage to scrape off one small strip at some point. I put a new one on. So overall they stay on well. I wish I had put them on earlier before scraping things up. However, no matter what if you drive much your going to take some damage. This product helps but probably...
Best looking Mustang in decades... V8, rear wheel drive, manual transmission and looks like a Chevy. Never had a Ford but maybe when all I can get at the Dodge store is EV's...
The cat just wants to roar around terrorizing the town not pose all pretty for a bunch of silly pictures. Also I'd have to wash her...and learn how to take pictures...maybe I'll get around to it. :)(y)
Would be cool to get that HFCOTM banner.
I don't oppose laws on lane splitting/filtering for selfish reasons. Traffic around here sucks. Those who are commuting on bikes in order to save time lane splitting/filtering are saving me time by not being 4 wheel traffic. The more of them the less traffic for me. Well up until one of them...
I don't see EV's being suitable as a persons only car anytime soon. Maybe as a play car that stays plugged in at the house for days and only goes out for short weekend blasts. Maybe for someone that has a reasonably short work commute and can charge from home overnight. EV's don't work as a road...
I think it looks good. What if the performance is really good as well? Not an EV fan but what if it kicks ass? Doesn't matter I'll probably just keep my Hellcat forever but at least it doesn't look like a Prius or a Model S. The exhaust is supposedly not a speaker...not sure how that works.
$150k salary for a year, a car on loan for a year, must make 15 appearances at events...so after taxes and they take the car back...people wanted to win this?
