True. I think in my '17 it was 3x with the Sport button (no SRT button). It varies with year and model I believe. Some people don't want to be bothered with pushing the button every time they start it though* Personally, I just left Eco as default for relaxed shifts/2nd gear starts and had the...
I think the only options for default mode are Eco and Street? Could be wrong, and maybe it's changed over the years, but that was one reason why people were buying the Tazer. The Tazer can automatically switch to Track (or any other) mode upon startup.
^^what he said. The SS is (maybe) a half step down from the Demon. 4 drag radials would not be great DD tires for most people. Easy enough to buy another set of wheels/tires for DD use though. And if the brake dust ends up bothering you, just install some Powerstop Z26 pads. They're pretty cheap.
I like my Ram, but this is my first truck so I have no frame of reference with owning other trucks.
If you don't need the back seat too often, get a quad cab instead of a crew. All quad cab Rams have the 6' 4" bed. And the quad cab is 4" shorter overall than the crew cab w/ 5' 7" bed somehow...
Yep. And even then you're only (educated) guessing. If you use a chassis dyno you have to figure in drivetrain loss, and not all dynos read the same. Only way to really be apples to apples would be to pull your engine and put it through the same SAE tests on an SAE engine dyno.
SAE certified numbers are supposed to keep automakers honest about their power claims. In the past some automakers liked to fudge the numbers or build a 'hero' motor to test with the tightest/best possible tolerances/specs that a regular production engine could never achieve. SAE test engines...
Hell, I just googled the 2020 LeMans entries and Toyota is the only auto manufacturer still running in LMP1 or LMP2. Lots of known brands in the lower GT classes. I suppose it's probably cheaper to run and at least looks like the street cars they're trying to sell.
I've got it on, but I haven't been following it too closely. I think Toyota has won the last couple LeMans, with Porsche close behind. And I know a few years ago Toyota was dominating the whole race and broke down on the last lap giving Porsche the win. IDK anything about the combination of...
Yep. You can see on the door frame where they pried on the glass till it broke. Took his backpack and that's it. But it had his school iPad and fancy calculator in it. Teachable moment. I've always told the kids not to leave anything visible in their cars. Maybe now he'll listen? I'm sure the...
I feel your pain. My son woke up to this today. Of course it was raining overnight too. Fucking assholes. What really sucks is he was parking in the street because it's leaking gas from the filler neck and didn't want that on my new driveway. We were planning on fixing it today after he gets...
