I currently have another thread going for suspension talk, seeking out more traction. However id also like to pick your alls brains about a 15 in conversion.

Currently i run the MT et street r. 315/50/17
Im running 2.55 upper. Stock pinned lower. Intake. Exhaust. 3.09 gear. Full E85. Demom killer springs. Locked out cradle. Fully adjustable rear end (all bmr)

Would swapping to the 15 inch and running a 315/60/15 really be worth it considering cost (conversion kit, wheels, tires) and i dont bracket race. I know it will be better with the 15s im just curious if its just a little or alot, warranting several grand in costs.

Additionally i see theres is now a 315/55/17 available. Has anyone ran this with success?. How did it do?

And for all those who have done the 15 in conversion, all help is appreciated. I seen a post earlier TCE mentioned theyve changed their kit and grinding isnt necessary??? Havent heard back from them about this yet.

I would do the conversion for the 15" then going to a 30.5" tire which will be more weight also .You should also be able to get away with a shorter 15" because of more sidewall. I can see the tires would be an easier change. A lot comes down to track prep and how hard the car leaves with the tune. My car hooks very well with 315/50/17s and AAD arms. 1.33 60ft leaving in 1st and 1.39 leaving in 2nd with 2.62 gears
