That looks sweet ,was it a plug and play or did you need a tune?
Needed some small tune tweaks so far which were quickly handled (in like 15 minutes of contact) by my tuner @jonx96 of Moored Performance (HIGHLY RECOMMEND, can’t beat the price or response time)

https://www.mooredperformance.com/

Waiting on proper blower belt which should be here today, the 7 rib temporary belt I used for sizing from autozone just not cutting it lol, starts to slip after about 3500 rpm, it’s too long to get good tension from the tensioner snd 30% to narrow.

Well being above post was moved to its own Thread Topic but not by me I mine as well finish it. @jonx96 finished my tune and we netted 1077HP but ran out of injector and fuel pump which kept us from going up in timing or boost and breaking the 1100 wheel mark, someday, it definitely has the guys for it!!
I just upgraded to ID1700’s and good air is here so maybe we’ll break over the 1100 wheel hurdle before winter sets in. Stay “Tuned”!!!!

Again, MUCH THANKS to @jonx96 owner of Moored Performance for his excellent support of this project and exceptional tuning skills. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND his tuning services, VERY affordable compared to the big guys and very attentive and quick responses to customers inquires and needs. 👍👍

Here’s what we’ll be working with next

Well you know you don't need good air on a dyno because of correction;)

I’ve done some reading on correction factors on dyno’s, they were created for NA cars and don’t apply well or very accurately for boosted engines. I’ll see if I can find the article and link it here.

Im shooting for 1200+ whp with my Whipple. U need to port that thing and get the 120mm TB. Also needs a cam and headers for that 3.0 to work properly. Ull need piston and Rod with that tho. That motor wont hold that power for very long.

Unless I'm mistaken, that engine has already been built. @16GoManGoHC2, correct?

This should be the thread.

My post was removed from original thread with same title and made into a new thread of same title same by a admin because I mentioned Moored Performance Tuning in another vendors thread. See it there in the middle?? 🤷🏼🤦🏼‍♂️

On to more interesting info. I had a 1/2 hour to kill and it started out as just seeing how a cold start went with the new ID 1700 injectors which went well so I let the car warm up and decided to take it for a ride and just see how Part Throttle Injector duty cycles were which ended up leading to a small third gear hit and then a review of that log showed the trims to be pretty close which led to a 60 to 130 hit in third and fourth which netted us. The interesting thing about this is it’s almost a personal best 60 to 130 and the tune for safety while dialing in these 1700’s only has 12° of timing up top, look at the screenshots from the HP Tuners log of this run, snd still ran a 5.37 60-130!!! DA does matter!! Look at G Force ramp on yesterday 60-130 hit, tapers from high to low, shows the negative timing ramp, it usually keep building G’s not loosing G’s as HP builds. Back to 19 degrees today!!

The better time and smoother graph of the lesser timing pull is probably because it wasn’t spinning as much during the run.

Further tuning today by adding timing back in netted these 2 back to back 60-130 pulls.

Notice G Force is now flat to angled upwards from putting timing back in. I think I need to make a toner with timing somewhere in between as the dragging this of those G force lines is spinning grabbing spinning grabbing, If it was more consistent and flat it would be just grabbing and going and maybe net a better time and get into the 4.90’s
