My local dealer will give me their jailbreak redeye regular body allocation for free if I order it soon, kind of can’t decide but probably won’t do it. It is something to think about though as it’s the last and only chance to get a new redeye. Sounds like the potential final car is just a redeye with an upper pulley and ability to run E85 tune, if they even do eventually release it, and they will just be presents to all the dealer owners that would get one anyway like @Illegal_Demon was saying.

Just curious...did you specifically hear this from someone in Dodge, or is it Youtube etc rumors?

I just heard from one of the dealership sales guys I have known for a while (from top 200 national sales shop) that they will NOT be even releasing number 7. "Too much trouble mechanically and too many pissed-off ppl and dealers who won't get one!"

FWIW my local dealer Melloy Dodge in ABQ looks to have allocations for at least one of every model! There is hope they will get 1 or 2 of the final super Hellcats, I think I will try to lock in a deposit soon.

Melloy already sold their Ghost allocation...+25K so they say...I asked about 7 car..."Oh thats another story altogether..." lol. You are right they probably will get 1 or 2 of those (if dodge builds one)..they are a top 200 dealership. but like most of those dealer$, get ready for the KY jelly action...+50K min is my bet with this dealer...

At MSRP? No way. Worst case, even if u took delivery you could flip any of these cars for bank...losing 1K would never happen...

My deposit is in for #7 (if it even comes to pass)..if not my HC is an M6 (which I love) and I have my Demon....I'm good with that...

The dealership is Northtown Dodge in Amherst NY...The order sheet is somewhat vague to say the least...simply states 2023 Dodge Challenger special edition #7 to be sold @ msrp subject to availability...The deposit was a 2000.00 cash deposit...signed by the salesman..sales manager..and the owner of the Northtown Auto group..(the same dealer that I secured my HC and Demon for 1.00 under msrp)..I have purchased numerous vehicles from this dealership without issue...

Not true, unless you're only referring to 6.2L S/C engined cars. (He got 392s)

He did get the one "regular" RE WB, but number #1 guy on the list snapped it up (you?).

He doesn't know about DHCs yet, said there's a class-action suit against Dodge because of the reintroduction of the DHCs.

I'm on that list (DHCs)

I'm also on his list for any Helliphants he gets.

I do not have any specific info, just my best guess. Maybe it’s the 3 liter helliphant IHI blower as @vortecd was saying. But I bet it’s a package very similar to the direct connection upgrade that was going to be offered. I’m sure they are already comfortable with that package.

So for Melloy they did pony up big $$$ to become a power broker dealership I bet so maybe they see this as a chance to get some of that back?

Stellantis does not care about Dodge. If Dodge goes under, I don't think the corporate brass would really care at all. Tim K said Dodge only accounts for about 5% of the car market.
