This guy probably does not care, but I doubt he will ever get what he paid for these cars brand new in the future. I don't see the 392 cars being super collectible in the future. Hellcat and especially redeye motor cars have a way better chance.

I really don't think that he cares. He buys what he likes and if he gets tired of it, it gets sold.

How much of that car pricing is due to government-mandated features and equipment? And how much is due to changing (and more demanding) consumer standards? When was the last time you saw a new car without air conditioning, power windows, power lock, etc.?
